I gained 80 pounds with my first pregnancy and have now lost it all and then some! Since I started with Julie in Dec. I have lost 11% bodyfat in 14 weeks, and still counting!! Without a doubt, being part of Julie's Team FitBody made this possible. The support from Julie and the other girls has kept me on track, focused, and motivated. Even though I have known how to work out and eat right I really didn't make big changes until I had a specific plan , a tangible goal, and people to be held accountable to.

I have battled my weight my entire life. I always considered myself the "fat friend". When my friends were sharing clothes, i was trading earrings and necklaces because they were the only thing that always fit. When i was at a pool or walking down a beach I always had shorts on over my bathing suit. I decided two years ago enough was enough and that I wanted to stop hiding. I started lifting and building muscle and slowly losing the weight, 30 lbs in a years time. I contacted Julie in October of 2008, and she helped me shed another 40 lbs and 26 inches in 25 weeks. For the first time ever, I stood in front of not only one person, but hundreds of people without covering my legs and I was confident and felt beautiful. It was one of the greatest moments of my life.
"My half hearted attempts at dieting and weight lifting were not working for me after hitting the big “30” milestone, so I started training long-distance with Julie Lohre, a pro fitness competitor and trainer. I started adding muscle and seeing changes in my figure that I had never expected. Julie ‘talked me into’ doing my first figure competition in October 2005. I had a great time and was hooked,” she explained.
She says the overall transformation that she has made in her body and eating habits has been truly amazing. “I never thought of myself as overweight, just not ‘in-shape’. If you had tried to tell me 10 years ago that, at almost 35, I would be in the best shape of my life and competing in a pro figure competition, I would have laughed hysterically. This has been an awesome experience and journey so far, and I can’t wait to see what is yet to come,” she enthused.

Hi Julie! I want to update you on something other than my progress. I put my husband on your diet because his cholesterol was up to 260 and he was not obese but weighed 235# and 6'1. From July 7th - September he lost 23 lbs and went to the doctors and his cholesterol went from 255 to 170. The doctor was shocked and told him to keep doing what he was doing. But he also rides his bike about 60 miles a week and as of today he has lost 28 lbs and weighs 207 lbs. So hats off to you and to him.

Wow, my transformation's have been HUGE!!!! I started at 24% body fat i am now below 12% and dropping, I am just taken back that just by plugging in with Julie, and following her step by step system, that any one can change no matter where they are at! I have been able to do this starting 4 weeks after the birth of my daughter, and I have done most of my dramatic changing in the past 4 months with Julie and lost 44 pounds total since my daughters birth. I have attached my progress tracker sheet and my pictures!!!! I can see a difference already. For the deviations in the fat caliper measurements, I believe that I was inconsistent in the location. I will from this point forward be consistent. I am still learning but found some awesome info. on proper measurements of sites which I will save and refer to from now on!
As you can see I have dropped 10 lbs. on the scale!! Unbelievable! I have also lost inches!

Hello Julie!
I just wanted to thank you and Rick for taking the time today to do the photo shoot. I have never done a photo shoot like this (I don't think High School senior pictures count, do they?) and I had a blast! It was such a great opportunity to capture our physiques after all the hard work we have been through (and continue to go through) and to spend time with such a fabulous group of women! Both you and Rick made it so much fun!
Once again, thank you for making this whole fall experience so wonderful!!! You have created such a unique environment where not only do you motivate each of us to do our personal best, but we encourage each other and motivate each other to do our personal best. Not to mention support one another.

Hi Julie! I had a great time at the show!! I placed 1st in Figure Novice (so I got two trophies for that---1st place and the Overall) and then I placed 2nd in Open Figure and received a trophy for that!
I received great feedback from the judges, basically I have the overall muscle quality that I need to do well in figure, I now need to work on "fine-tuning" my quads and glutes so I will come in a bit more tighter. They told me I had great stage presence and presented myself well to the crowd! Again----I had a fantastic time!!

I used Julie for my contest prep and will continue to use her again when I compete in the spring. She's fabulous!! I really can't say enough great things about her and I find her to be very reasonably-priced. I was never hungry on her nutrition program either. She's also really good about getting back with email and phone calls. Email her and arrange to have a phone-consult to see if she'sright for you. I really enjoy her upbeat postitive attitude, and during contest prep when you're tired and stressed out, it really is a breath of fresh air. Iam 31 years old. I own my own real estate company and am a real estatebroker. I am also a partner and vice president of my husband'sresidential building business. For me, weight training has been apassion since the age of 15. When I was 18 years old, I took firstplace in two weight lifting contests. From 5-9-08 to 10-30-08 (5 1/2 months) Tracy made the following progress...
She lost 25 lbs overall
Gained 5 lbs of muscle
Lost an INCREDIBLE 30 LBS OF FAT
and went from 26.6% body fat to 11.7% bodyfat.
That is a net loss of 14.9% - More than half of the body fat she started with!!!

This is the end of my 16 weeks. Thanks for everything. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever - ever think that I could go down two sizes. I have to say the biggest difference is in my body fat. My body looks so much better, and it is to the point that now I would consider wearing a two piece swimming suit again. I haven't worn one of those since - well I don't know when. I would guess my early 30's maybe not since my 20's. If I am able to keep this up, I know I will wear one of my vacations next year. I know this will be a life time plan for me and I am very happy with meeting my original goal of loosing 2 sizes. It is so wonderful wearing size 10 and medium shirts again.

Hi Julie!
I have to let you know how much progress i've made in such a short
time with you.... i started off doing "girl" push ups on my knees
and have since progressed to "real" push ups! i was a little
skeptical about the push ups with feet elevated, but had no trouble
doing them today!!! i was also able to do 2 sets out of 4 of ball
pikes too! i was so excited when i finished today's
workouts...thanks!
While i was training today, one of the trainers and his clients came
up to me and asked me how much weight i've lost recently...they said
you look so different and "small". I had to chuckle a bit when I
told them that in a month, i've lost no pounds, but have lost
everywhere in inches and body fat. They were both really impressed.

I really, really love the training!!! I am getting results in my body and love hearing people tell me how great I am looking. I have gotten stronger on every exercise, and the only one that i still can't do is an unassisted pullup. that is my long term goal for myself! The diet has been very easy to follow and I have really been almost perfect on it. I think I had sushi for dinner one night, so if that's my worst cheat, so be it!
I want to keep going with everything and really see what my body can do! Let me know what you want to tweak for the next round, I'm game for anything!!!

Guess what?! I got my Bod Pod results and since my last reading on 3/24, just 23 days ago, I have gained 2.6 pounds of muscle and lost 2.5 pounds of fat!!! My body fat percentage is now 24.4%, which is 1.9% lower than the last reading! Thank you so much for your help! I have tried so many different things since I started training 6 years ago, and nothing has worked like this. I cannot believe that I have put on that much muscle that quickly. The highest my lean mass has ever been was 103.5 at the end of 2005, and I wasn't sure that I could ever get back up to that - now I think I can get beyond that! I am THRILLED!!! THANK YOU!!

Congratulations to Jenn Jackson of the Spring Team Fitbody, who over the course of a very challenging 20 weeks completely transformed her body going from an average woman to a Figure model and NPC National Figure competitor.
Jenn’s hard work and dedication have taken her from 24% bodyfat at 142 lbs to 11% bodyfat at 127 lbs. In the process, Jenn lost 15 lbs of fat, gained 5 lbs of muscle and gained a new respect for what she can accomplish.
She took First and the Overall title at her very first figure show – a large National Qualifier against more than 50 incredible athletes. Watch for Jenn on National stages this year. I would not be surprised if an IFBB Pro Card was in her future with this kind of determination!

I would like to give the biggest thank you ever to Julie Lohre. She has truly changed my life. When I submitted my week 1 photo I really didn’t even think she would want to work with me. When I contacted Julie and decided to start working with her, doing a figure competition was the furthest thing from my mind. I just wanted to tone up and build some muscle. Julie didn’t pressure me to compete but said that we could see how the training went and then maybe look at doing a show in the spring of 2006 if I wanted. After the first 2 months on Julie’s program, I had seen so many changes in my body that I definitely decided to work towards a competition in the spring. I met Julie and her husband Rick for the first time when they came to Charlotte, NC for the Charlotte Pro on September 30, and little did I know that within the next few days she would have me convinced to compete in a figure competition on October 22 (YES, LESS THAN 3 WEEKS AWAY!!!). Julie switched me to the contest prep diet and workout, and those 3 weeks were a blur. I was extremely nervous but placed 3rd in the 10/22 show and then ended up doing another show on 10/29 and placed 2nd. I’m very excited about my progress and plans to come. I want to thank Julie for all her help, guidance, and motivation, it’s been great and I couldn’t have done it on my own.

....It just amazes me to think that I started working with you just over 2 years ago, right before your first pro show and look at you NOW! AND if someone had tried to tell me then that I would be competing on stage and having so much fun at it, I would have thought they were crazy. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve not been near as committed and dedicated to workouts and dieting as you have, heavens knows I like to cheat and can get carried away, but I’ve learned so much from you and am so thankful that you talked me into taking that ‘leap’ into walking on stage for the first time!
I’m proud to report that I competed in an INBF show on Saturday night that was a couple hours from here and I FINALLY walked away with my very first 1st PLACE trophy and also a WNBF Pro Card. This was only the second show I had ever done with the organization, but we’ll see! I was completely floored!!
I celebrated for a couple days but had to get back on ‘track’ cause I have a local NPC show a week from Saturday. Just wanted to share my good news and say THANKS AGAIN for convincing this quiet, shy girl that she could shine on stage!

I have lost a total of 15 pounds 4 ounces I have lost-to-date (12 weeks)! I have been working hard and am really happy. We went to friends Saturday and went swimming. It was the first time I put on my swimsuit since the first pictures we took to send you. I felt sooooo much better. I wasn't ashamed or embarrassed getting in and out of the pool; it was a wonderful feeling. My friend said I looked great. I hadn't told her I was loosing weight, but I did mention once that I had started going to a gym. They had gone to Punta Cana with us in February, so she could tell how much better I looked in a swim suit.
